The 12th century church was later enlarged and fortified and suffered from the Hundred Years Wars to the extent that the building was partly rebuilt in the 15th century. The nave was rebuilt very late. The church, not oriented, has a nave followed by a square transept and a choir with a flat chevet. The transept square, narrower than the nave, does not open in the axis of the nave. It is separated from it by piles reinforced in the 14th century and, together with the choir, constitutes the remaining part of the 12th century. In the south pier, a spiral staircase was built, serving the attic and the defences of the building. Two side chapels were built. The choir was revoked with warheads in the 15th century.
