Church of the 15th and 16th centuries
Started under Bertrand de Rouffignac (1491-1505), the monastery church was completed by Bertrand de la Faye (1520-1540) in a flamboyant gothic style. The new buildings were burnt down during the Wars of Religion in 1569, leading to the decadence of the abbey, which was accentuated in the 17th and 18th centuries.
