The process I engage in when I devote myself to painting consists, essentially, in wanting to give form, in an abstract way, to the inner visions that nature inspires me, in the broadest sense of the term. It is indeed the practice of scuba diving that I practiced for a long time in Morocco that led me to painting. I was fascinated by the movements, colours and shapes that unfolded before my eyes. I thus drew my inspiration from them, then, as a self-taught artist, I began to want to "transcribe" them by laying them on the canvas to show and share them.
