Tableware is at the heart of moments of sociability and conviviality. I create ceramics to highlight these moments of sharing.
My ceramics are part of a pottery tradition with abstract, instinctive and dynamic brushstroke decoration.
I create contemporary tableware with the simplicity of traditional stoneware, colored with engobes and fired with gas and wood at high temperatures. I create my own identity with vigorous throwing and a lively pincé technique. I leave fingerprints and play with the balance of shapes to bring as much vitality as possible to my ceramics. I blur or intensify my decoration with ash glazes of varying gloss and melting, highlighting certain colored areas and even drowning them in a living fade.
