Built on a plateau, the village was curiously built away from its church. The present-day town hall is housed in a handsome 18th-century residence known as Maison Brugeau. The interior of this splendid building features a square tower, windows with arched lintels, an inglenook fireplace and dormer windows with overhanging eaves.
