Description

Vincent Massonie was the grandson of four brothers, all of them Negociants. He was born on October 14, 1860 in Valliergue His parents, Maurice Massonie and Marie Roussange, were farmers. He married in Meymac on February 11, 1888 to Louise Sebouroux. He traveled mainly in Belgium, but also in the Nord and Ardennes regions and a little in Normandy. He also took part in fairs where he presented his wines. In 1907, he won a gold medal at the International Exhibition in Leuven. He built a house on the site of the town?s former Sarazin mill.
