Description

In the 17th century, this charming residence was the mansion of the Joyet de Maubec family. The granite portal (18th century) is remarkable for its skilfully carved vault, topped by 3 granite spheres. In the 18th century, the house belonged to the de Larouverade family. The large windows on the eastern facade offer a unique view of the Vézère valley. A tall tower topped by an imperial-style roof overlooks terraced gardens laid out in the late 18th century. The property is listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques. The building is now home to a 4* hotel and restaurant.
