Delphine Thieffry creates mandalas from her spontaneous inspirations or from her research into the geometrical patterns of cathedral rosettes, Amerindian wheels, Arabic and Persian rosettes, Tibetan mandalas, chakras, etc. She uses paints based on real pigments of semi-precious stones to honour their beauty, preciousness and powers. Her artistic approach is to plunge into the secrets of ancestral knowledge, to reconnect with a universal, poetic and symbolic language used in all civilizations since the dawn of time.
