Situated on one of the routes to Santiago de Compostela and built on a naturally fortified site, the small village of "Bello Monte" offers a breathtaking view over the countryside. In the village square, a beautiful carved cross belonging to the recumbent tomb of the unknown knight stands proudly alongside the church of Saint-Léonard, in which a magnificent 14th-century enamelled reliquary has found a home.
