Description
The commune of Monsac must have been inhabited by the first men who trod the Périgord. The plateaus of the commune provided and still conceal many instruments of the time of the cut stone. Large axe workshops were set up there. Nails testify to the Gallic period and the stone tombs remind us of the Roman period.
