At the edge of the Millevaches Plateau, the "La Garenne" campground is located in Meymac, a town listed among the "Most Beautiful Detours in France" and designated a "Station Verte." Open from mid-June to mid-September, the campground has two chalets that sleep five people. These chalets feature a terrace with patio furniture, a semi-equipped kitchen (refrigerator, electric stovetop—no sink) with two fold-out single beds, one bedroom with two single bunk beds and a loft bed (strongly discouraged for young children). A sink, shower, and toilet are located in the campground’s communal restroom building. Reservations can be made through the tourist office at 07 80 20 43 37. Flat rate for 1 to 7 nights.
