Château de Caussade

Tucked away in the heart of the Lanmary Forest, just off a hiking trail, you’ll find the Château de Caussade. This castle has preserved all its medieval charm, offering visitors an immediate immersion in history. Its enclosure, bordered by half-filled moats and flanked by four square towers, bears witness to its defensive role. Access via a drawbridge reinforces its medieval character. Listed as a Historic Monument since August 1945, the castle stands as a remarkable example of medieval architecture in the Périgord.
