Home of the Pays d'art et d'histoire Causses et Vallée de la Dordogne, the Heritage Area hosts on 4 levels a permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions presenting the region's heritage and landscapes. The Heritage Area is located in the castle of the Deans, which dates from the Renaissance and houses a 17th century painted ceiling The Pays d'art et d'histoire Causses et Vallée de la Dordogne offers free entertainment all year round and in the summer season organises guided tours with guide-lecturers approved by the Ministry of Culture.
