Description

Eymet Castle marks the northern entrance to the bastide. Although it has lost most of its curtain walls, imposing remains can still be seen: ramparts, a corner watchtower, a bretèche above the gate, and a mighty square keep known as the ‘Monseigneur Tower’ or ‘Tower of the English’, dating from the 13th century. External viewing only. Self-guided tour
