Description

A former pilgrimage route of 180 kilometers from the Périgord to Rocamadour, this magnificent route is now marked out, and allows you to cross the vineyards and hills of Bergerac in complete safety, before skirting the green Dordogne valley and its cliffs, to arrive in the valley of the Ouysse. This second stage starts from St Cernin de Labarde, towards Issigeac where the bell tower and the turrets of the castle are visible. Several buildings are worth a visit: the Prévôté, an 18th century charterhouse, the Maison des dîmes, the Maison des Têtes from the end of the 15th century and of course the church of Saint Félicien Six kilometres away, you can see the village of Bardou and its castle which includes the remains of an English fortress.
