The archaeological deposits of ‘La Ferrassie’, ‘La Micoque’, and ‘Le Moustier’, with their complementary stratigraphy, offer a good outline of nearly 400,000 years of human occupation in the Périgord. ‘L’Abri du Poisson’ features one of the oldest representations of fish known in the world, in bas-relief.
