La gare Robert Doisneau

in Carlux
  • Spread over three levels, the Gare Robert Doisneau is an unusual place where design and authenticity coexist. In the centre of the station is the Tourist Office of the Pays de Fénelon.
Two galleries, unique in France! Indeed, this is the only permanent exhibition space dedicated to Robert Doisneau. Gallery 1 retraces Robert Doisneau's first holidays in the Dordogne and the Lot during the first paid holidays in 1937. Gallery 2 is on the theme of "slices of life", a subject used...
Spread over three levels, the Gare Robert Doisneau is an unusual place where design and authenticity coexist.
Gallery 2 is on the theme of "slices of life", a subject used on many occasions by Robert Doisneau. It lets you discover photos of "characters" of our beautiful region. An educational space is also set up there, from the silver laboratory in Montrouge to the digital "lab" in Rouffillac-de-Carlux. The temporary exhibition gallery hosts exhibitions and artists in residence
Free admission - open all year round.
