Description

Once upon a time, legend has it, there was a Lord of Longeyroux. This Lord was very rich, but hard on the poor. One day, when a storm was threatening, an old man came to ask for some food and shelter for the night. The Seigneur du Longeyroux chased him away without mercy, and one of the shepherdesses laughed at him. I'm leaving," said the old beggar to the Lord. But know that for you and your domain, punishment is at hand. An hour later, a terrible storm broke over the Longeyroux. When the lightning and wind had ceased, the castle, the Lord and his guests had vanished; the hundred cows and their shepherdess had remained, turned to stone for eternity
