Le Clos du Breil

Le Clos du Breil is a family farm located near the medieval village of Issigeac. The estate comprises 16 hectares of vines At Le Clos du Breil the work in the vineyard and the vinification are dictated by several principles: patience, humility and sharing. Great attention is paid to the work of the vine (no chemical weeding for 10 years, in organic conversion) in order to magnify the expression of the terroir composed of Issigeac limestone mixed with flint. In order to offer a range of wines in line with our principles, we harvest our plots according to the aromatic evolution of the berries. We take care to vinify each parcel and each grape variety separately until the final blend. We offer different vintages. Wines that are supple on the fruit and wines of character that make the reputation of the estate.
