Description
An evolving exhibition on the Museum and Archives Conservation Center project. The need to preserve the collections of a “musée de France”, the challenges of conserving the exceptional collections of this encyclopedic museum, the stages of a collections project, the art restoration trades... all subjects evoked and enriched with anecdotes. A number of key works, veritable treasures, will be brought out of storage, notably those by Colombian painter Emma Reyes, to be discovered in a room of the museum renovated for the occasion.
