The Imperial Days

This new event, organised by the Greater Périgueux Intercommunal Tourist Office, will take place on 7 and 8 June 2025 in Cendrieux, in the Val de Louyre and Caudeau commune. It will include a re-enactment of an imperial bivouac, with cavalry demonstrations, infantry manoeuvres and a demonstration of Empire dances; a craft village and a gourmet village (Marché de Producteurs de Pays); guided tours of the Musée Napoléon and a gala meal (booking required).
The event will also be an opportunity to celebrate the town's membership of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities and its designation as an ‘Imperial City’.

Professional re-enactors, local producers, craftsmen and artisans, and brotherhoods will be on hand to offer you a historic weekend.
