Description
Hôtel Lauthonie is located at 12, avenue de Général de Gaulle, formerly rue du Trech near Tulle Cathedral. The house was built in 1551 from cut stone (Gramont sandstone from a quarry near Brive). The Renaissance-style house underwent major remodeling in 1877. Its sandstone facade, at the foot of the Solane river, is now covered and was remodeled in the Renaissance style in the 19th century. The Rue Riche façade dates back to the 16th century.
