Description

Concert ? Psychedelic indie pop rock At times soft, intimate pop, at other times full of rock breaks and bursts, PAR LE GAST?s music attempts, on its own scale, to break new sonic ground, seeking light by escaping through the window, away from sensations already heard. Far from a scholarly approach, Par Le Gast claims DIY as its modus operandi, sifting through bedroom production and its accidents for influences ranging from the Anglo-Saxon indie rock of the 1990s and 2000s (Deerhoof, PJ Harvey and Stereolab spring to mind) to the avant-garde pop of the 70s and 80s (Laurie Anderson and Brian Eno). The result is a melodic, oblique music driven by a desire to transcend codes. Free admission Bar and snacks on site
