Located just a stone's throw from Saint-Front cathedral, in a beautiful listed 18th-century building, this restaurant offers two dining rooms, one of which overlooks a pretty medieval square, as well as a lovely, large terrace. As well as a three-course menu of the day, the menu offers Italian specialities: cold meats, bruschetta with a green salad, pasta (spaghetti or tagliatelle), and the inevitable light pizzas. The cuisine is refined and consistent, with dishes we've come to love: veal escalope royale (Parma ham and gorgonzola), tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce and slices of dried duck breast. The vegetarian pizza is a delight with its light topping, and the lasagne and cannelloni with cream are invariably good. Special mention for the tiramisu dessert.
