The route of this greenway is quite shady and allows you to discover the Dordogne valley, typical villages of the Périgord Noir as well as a magnificent viaduct over the river. From the medieval city of Sarlat (city of Art and History), the forest offers a shady, downhill route, punctuated by passages in the middle of the rock until Carsac, a village overhung by the greenway
A few kilometers later, a junction allows you to reach Grolejac by crossing the Dordogne on a viaduct. You can also continue your journey by staying on the same bank until the village of Aillac, then Peyrillac and Millac. Then 3 km of paths lead to Cazoulès, near Souillac
The starting point is located near the center of Sarlat and is easily accessible from the train station.
