Originally from the village of Le Chassain in Saint-Sulpice-les-Bois, François Celaudoux (1894-1954) became involved in the wine trade after the 14-18 war, traveling to the North of France and Belgium. Gaston Celaudoux began to travel with his father, who introduced him to the trade and then succeeded him after his death. It's not certain that the house built in the 1920s was built by the Celaudoux family, but they lived in it after the Second World War.
