The Centre d?art contemporain d?intérêt national (label in 2022) is housed in the south wing of the Abbaye Saint-André, in the heart of Meymac?s historic center. Its mission is to promote and disseminate contemporary art, principally in the visual arts.
For more than 40 years, the Center has been offering a wide range of approaches to contemporary art, based on existing works, and addressing issues of concern to society and art today.

The program alternates, in three complementary cycles, between thematic exhibitions (to grasp a contemporary artistic situation in its entirety) and monographic exhibitions (to deepen our knowledge of an artist) or collective exhibitions dedicated to young artists (to open our eyes to the future). All exhibitions are accompanied by an educational program and a visitor?s guide.
