The house is located in the hamlet of l'Hivernerie, in the commune of Gumond, which is crossed by the Doustre, a tributary of the Dordogne. Three spacious guest rooms with two or three beds have been fitted out to provide a warm welcome for up to 8 people. The building, a former barn built in 1912 and completely refurbished in 1984, is a typical stone construction of the region, covered with Travassac slate.
