rue de l'église, 19370 Chamberet
Dedicated to St. Dulcet, whose body was transferred to Limousin for burial. The current building, dating from the 12th century, has undergone numerous alterations following several fires (1590, 1818, 1881). The bell tower was rebuilt in 1660. The bell tower was rebuilt in 1660, and all that remains of the old building are the choir bay with its lateral arches and the voussoirs of the western portal, with its poly-lobed arches. A treasury has been set up under the bell tower. Of the 3 medieval shrine-reliquaries on display, the shrine of St. Dulcet is the most remarkable. It is the work of 13th-century Limousin goldsmiths, in champlevé enamel. Next to the portal, a medieval tombstone stands like a monumental cross on a plinth.
