Exhibition - In the footsteps of the demarcation line Thomas ERMEL and Cyril LAFON

This photographic and video exhibition explores the issues of memory and its transmission by exploring
the last traces of the demarcation line of the Second World War. This internal border cut France in two, between the free zone and the occupied zone. Imposed by the Nazi diktat and accepted by Pétain, it takes us back to a shameful past. But the line is also marked by the figure of the smuggler, the escapees, the Jews, the illegal immigrants... The memory of the line is plural and complex....
