On the Millevaches Plateau, the Monédière estate can be found at the end of a small road lined with forest: a hamlet, a farm where vegetables, organic lamb and wild blueberry jams are produced, and finally the three Florentins, Baptiste and François holiday cottages that make up the estate. The three cottages are built of local stone with thick walls and feature architectural elements typical of the Corrèze region: cantou (a traditional fireplace), bassière (a low, open fireplace) and exposed beams. Coming here is a bit like stepping back in time without sacrificing comfort. Opening onto the garden, each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a large farmhouse table and a living room. A beautiful staircase leads to two bedrooms (for Florentins) and one bedroom (for Baptiste and François) under the eaves, and a shower room. The whole place is pleasant and functional.
