Between mill, castle, model farm, family stories, men and slices of life. An unusual bucolic journey in dialogue with nature and architecture along the towpath. Exceptional access to the mill, evoking the Pas du Roy and the transformations of the site over the years. On April 20, 1475, the powerful cloth merchant of Périgueux, Arnaud Géraud, known as de Golce, became a nobleman by purchasing the Sallegourde farmhouse and paying homage to François de Bourdeilles. In 1523, the mill belonged to Jehanne Arnaut de Golce. She bequeathed it to her son Bertrand de Mackanam in her will dated March 5, 1555. This document mentions “mills and fisheries”... revelations, with the owner of the premises, Mr. Dupuy. Friendly historical finale near the golf course and presentation of unpublished iconography.
