Overlooking the town is a medieval-looking tower, a recent construction actually housing a water tower. At its summit, an orientation table offers exceptional panoramic views, notably of the Monédières massif and the Sancy mountains.
Below, the church of Sainte-Catherine features a Limousin portal with a richly sculpted pink granite archivolt. In the choir, a Renaissance niche houses an enamelled shrine to Sainte-Valérie, a delightful 13th-century piece testifying to the worldwide renown of Limousin enamel art.
The heritage trail, punctuated by some twenty explanatory panels, allows you to discover Le Masseret Ancien.
