Giordano's opera is inspired by the romantic poet André Chénier, known for his opposition to the excesses of the French Revolution.
The Confluence des Arts et des Savoirs association is offering nine selections from the Metropolitan Opera as part of its HD-Live broadcasts for the 2025-2026 season, as well as an evening tribute to Maria Callas.
