A stunning new production of Bizet's opera by Richard Eyre: Elīna Garanča leads the cast in the title role of the iconic gypsy, a woman desired by all men but determined to remain true to herself. Roberto Alagna plays Don José, the soldier who falls under her spell and sacrifices everything for her love, only to be abandoned when the bullfighter Escamillo (Teddy Tahu Rhodes) piques Carmen's curiosity.
For the 2025-2026 season, the Confluence des Arts et des Savoirs association is offering nine selections from the Metropolitan Opera as part of its HD-Live broadcasts, as well as an evening tribute to Maria Callas.
