Moulin du Pont Lasveyras, 19230 Beyssenac
In February 1944, the Lasveyras Bridge Mill, located on the banks of the Auvezère River in Beyssenac, was home to about fifty young STO draft dodgers.
On February 16, 1944, in the early morning, a German detachment surprised them. Following the massacre: 34 were executed on the spot, 13 were deported, of which 6 died in deportation, 7 survived
3 survivors.
All these young men were waiting to form the Bataillon Violette, a battalion that was formed in June 1944.

During the summer : you can discover inside the mill an exhibition presenting the Resistance fighters as well as objects.
