Moulin du Pont Lasveyras, Chemin du 16 février 1944, 19230 Beyssenac
On February 16, 1944, the Papeterie mill was home to around 50 young STO draft dodgers. 34 of them were executed by a German platoon, 13 were deported (7 escaped), and 3 survived the attack. All these young men were waiting to form the Bataillon Violette, a battalion which was formed in June 1944.

The Moulin is now a place of remembrance, where an exhibition recounting the events is presented to the public every summer.

On this site steeped in history, you'll also discover :
- a Memory Trail: 1940s to 1945,
- footpaths and a botanical trail,
- the maquis stele,
- The Lasveyras Bridge: a medieval bridge listed as a historic monument.
