Bòsc is the result of an encounter with a region and its borders, its language, its songs, its temperaments, its unique rhythms.
It is a concert that takes the time of a vigil, listening to the stories of timbres and naked voices, to the unique forces of laments and complaints, between music and silence. It is also sometimes the mass,
the vibration, the drone danced in the pit of the stomach.
From a common grounding in traditional music, the five musicians of Bòsc offer an interpretation of songs from the southern Massif Central (Quercy, Rouergue, and Cantal), confronting other practices, more specific to each, drawn from contemporary, experimental, baroque, or storytelling music.
