Odyssée - FURIE

Inspired by fantasy cinema, Furie is a choreographic fable featuring four young dancers. Delving into the culture of teen horror movies (from Carrie to Stranger Things), Furie tells the story of Clara, a teenager abused by her former friends. Composed in the form of tableaux that deconstruct the build-up to violence, Furie exposes the insidious mechanisms of this brutality, which progresses from the first incidents in the schoolyard to the cruellest attacks. Between realism and onirism, the audience witnesses the setting up of a harassment situation. The soundtrack plays at full volume, at once explaining and distancing these all-too-common scenes. The girls' frivolity gradually transforms
into perverse games, and the audience is confronted with scenes of unleashed violence.
