Vestiges of a gallo-romain villa with peristyle and inner courtyard inhabited from the Ist to the VIth century. Polycusped hall, antique baths and preserved mosaics.
The excavations carried out on the site of Montcaret by Jules Formigé between 1922 and 1939 revealed its wealth.
In the 1st and 2nd centuries, a great Gallo-Roman villa was built there. It was transformed in the 4th century: the house was in its prime at that time.
The arrangement of the house is Graeco-Roman.
